Welcome

This site is the online back up to an introductory poi course that is run in Manchester UK. It houses very user friendly online lessons in a private area which are useful for course attendees to use as a learning aid when not actually at the course. The Course

The course is comprised of 10 sessions, each session will introduce you to a fundamental aspect of this wonderful art form, the point of the course is that by the end you will be able to teach yourself any move.

It includes 12 months access to the lessons area on this website, a pair of the best practice poi you could possibly use, a supervised fire spin at the end which deals with all aspects of the safety requirements involved in this artform and a properly taken photograph of you fire spinning for your mantelpiece.

The Teacher

My name is Coley, I have been teaching poi for a living and performing professionally for over 7 years. I performed at nightclubs and events for 2 years then got into the teaching side and began running workshops for various local authorities and youth organisations. I founded and still run the website domorepoi.com where all matters of poi and fire spinning are discussed on an easy going message board.

I pride myself on being a patient and informative teacher who loves to see people learn and strives to find the best way to get the imformation across. I have run this course before in various locations and have only ever recieved good feedback.
